The painting " Light and Stone” is the third of a series of paintings dedicated to Light.
We see a world formed by multi-colored rays of the light spectrum, invisible particles of which color the surrounding space with all sorts of shades. Light is the lightest, weightless substance, it can not be felt by touch, but without it we will not see what is the most majestic and dense component of our planet Earth-it is a stone.
Stone (mineral) is the matter that forms the basis of our planet, it is the foundation for our homes, and the component of our bodies in the form of bones. Stone (minerals) is a dense structure, strong and solid, but it becomes alive when it is warmed by the energies of warm light.
On Earth, we can only be alive by warming ourselves in the rays of light!
And in our body we are alive, when the Light of the soul is burning inside!
The painting is painted in the technique of multi-layer painting with thin layers of oil paint, which allows you to create a three-dimensional volume and the glow of the lower layers of paint through the transparent upper layers. Work on the painting took several weeks to achieve complete drying and strengthening of each previous layer.

The sides of the picture are the continuation of the image, so you do not need to place the picture in a frame.

Made on high-quality canvas (100% linen), canvas density 400 gr / meter. The canvas is stretched on a moisture-proof wooden slab of 100% natural wood. Used the best Russian oil paints produced in Russia, the city of St. Petersburg.

I did not attach the hangers on the back side, and I will attach them to the package.
