The painting “Light and Mirrors” is the first of a series of paintings dedicated to Light. All that we see around us is the reflection of light particles from solid forms, it is the light that creates the difference in color spots, making the world filled with colorful objects. If you close the flow of light (as it happens in a dark room or at night), then the space becomes like a cluster of indistinguishable dark images, the eye blindly wanders in the hopeless darkness.
Light is the greatest gift of heaven, it is a flowing stream that gives us the joy of life and opens our eyes to the infinite variety of its manifestations.
Light is an invisible substance, its existence can only be understood through the reflection in the crystals of our eyes, they are like magic mirrors.

Fragments of the Sun and Moon,
The glow of distant stars,
Splendor in lace, lowered lashes,
The High Temple in the depths is hidden
And its windows are Your eyes!
Through them, the world knows no boundaries!

The painting is painted in the technique of multi-layer painting with thin layers of oil paint, which allows you to create a three-dimensional volume and the glow of the lower layers of paint through the transparent upper layers. Work on the painting took several weeks to achieve complete drying and strengthening of each previous layer.

The sides of the picture are the continuation of the image, so you do not need to place the picture in a frame.

Made on high-quality canvas (100% linen), canvas density 400 gr / meter. The canvas is stretched on a moisture-proof wooden slab of 100% natural wood. Used the best Russian oil paints produced in Russia, the city of St. Petersburg.

I did not attach the hangers on the back side, and I will attach them to the package.
